The Sunshine Coast Council region-wide LoRaWAN network comprises more than 30 gateways across the council area, including locations such as:
- Mount Coolum,
- Caloundra Lighthouse
- Mary Cairncross Lookout at Maleny
- Sunshine Coast Council Maroochydore Office
The council boundaries encompass 2254 square kilometres, of which an estimated 70% now has outdoor LoRaWAN coverage.
